SO, HOW DOES IT WORK?
AS A PLATINUM MEMBER you have the option of adding the benefits of our Digital Vault for Safe and Secure Storage of your Personal End-of-Life Plan including essential prepared documents such as Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare and Last Will and Testament. Yes, you will keep a copy on your home computer and will have the original hard-copy in your file binder.
You APPOINT as many as three persons that you allow to access the documents. Those persons will generally be your Healthcare Agent and your Executor and possibly a Family member. They are your Surrogates. You can determine when they will have access and the level of access they are permitted. Generally you will allow them to ONLY VIEW and PRINT the documents after you give them permission to access YOUR PERSONAL VAULT. You can change access privileges at any time.
HOW IS THE INFORMATION ENCRYPTED AND SECURED?
We use the same level of data protection as is generally used by banks and other secure institutions that maintain your personal information. You control who has access and that their password access is double-verified. Your uploaded data is 256-bit SSL encrypted by https://letsencrypt.org/ and protected via a Double-Verified Password protocol that affirms the identity of the person trying to access the account.
DO MY SURROGATES HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS SERVICE?
Not, not at all. Your Surrogate's accounts are included in your Digital Vault Subscription Service.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ADD THIS SERVICE?
You have the option of including your Personal Digital Vault with your Platinum Membership. If decide to add this service later it is for one year and can be renewed automatically.
